Eastern Bluebirds
Original oil painting , inspired by the first bluebirds couple I saw on my birdwatching trip. The male (on the left) and the female are perched up on two branches, standing right across from each other. The background is pale blue to contrast the deep blue you see in their plumage, along with impasto texture in the surroundings of the birds.
