Why You’ll Love It: This is an original oil painting of a Yellow Billed Cuckoo. I once found this bird. It laid on a rooftop as if it was asleep, though that was not the case at all. This bird migrates from South America to the North to breed and on its way it had hit a window and passed away. Unfortunately birds cannot tell the difference, as windows reflect the sky and birds often lose their lives from collisions that are 100% preventable by using window markers.
I got to hold this bird in my hands as beautiful and peaceful as it looked, I was filled with sadness that his journey had ended this way. This painting is my way of commemorating his/her memory.
